簡介
Introduction
 
       為了符合本校「教育全人化」、「學習科技化」、「課程產業化」、「活動社區化」四大發展策略,本系將課程分為「觀光休閒」與「旅館管理」二大發展模組,為提昇學生素質及就業競爭能力,本系除分別就知識、技術、態度、品格和服務教育等項進行培育外,另再經由全國性觀光休閒產業相關之研討會及國際性觀光事業教育之學術合作與交流,強化學生觀光休閒事業之專業與國際觀;並透過各種實務專題、相關證照的輔導與獎助、觀光講座、校內外實習課程、產學雙師、企業參訪及敦聘具有實務經驗之業界高階主管參與授課,讓學生在畢業前瞭解產業之樣貌與特徵,充分結合理論與實務間之印證與落實,為就業做最好之準備,以實現「畢業即就業,上班即上手」的教育目標。

In order to comply with the four major development strategies of the school: "Education as a Whole", "Learning Technology", "Curriculum Industrialization", and "Activity by Community", the department divides the curriculum into two major developments: the modules in "Tourism and Leisure" and "Hotel Management".  In order to improve students’ quality and employment competitiveness, apart from cultivating knowledge, technology, attitude, character, and service education, the department goes through national tourism and leisure industry related seminars and international tourism business, educational academic cooperation and exchanges, strengthen the professional and international outlook of students' tourism and leisure business; and through various practical topics, relevant license counseling and awards, tourism lectures, internship courses on- and off-campus, industry-university cooperation with dual teachers, corporate visits and hiring senior executives with practical experience, allowing students to understand the appearance and characteristics of the industry before graduation, and fully integrate the verification and implementation between theory and practice, and make the best preparations for employment, so as to achieve "employment upon graduation” and “familiarity by the first day of work” as our educational goal.

                本系規劃以成為「觀光休閒系專業人才培訓中心」為中長程發展目標。同時配合學校推動「產學合作」、「系位本科課程規劃」、「特色領域人才培育計畫」、「實習教學」及「高中職策略聯盟計劃」等階段性觀光休閒專業人才訓練計畫,提升學生就業能力與職場競爭力。本系目前(110學年度) 日間四技制計有六班,除訓練學生獲得觀光休閒管理的理論知識,加強學生外語及專業知識與證照考試,同時藉由與業界建教合作之實務實習增加同學實務能力與技能,培育理論與實務兼具之觀光休閒行銷經營管理之專業人才。
