教育目標 Educational goals

    本系規劃以成為「觀光休閒系專業人才培訓中心」為中長程發展目標。同時配合學校推動「產學合作」、「系位本科課程規劃」、「特色領域人才培育計畫」、「實習教學」及「高中職策略聯盟計劃」等階段性觀光休閒專業人才訓練計畫,提升學生就業能力與職場競爭力。本系目前(110學年度) 日間四技制計有六班,除訓練學生獲得觀光休閒管理的理論知識,加強學生外語及專業知識與證照考試,同時藉由與業界建教合作之實務實習增加同學實務能力與技能,培育理論與實務兼具之觀光休閒行銷經營管理之專業人才。

The department's plan is to become a "tourism and leisure professional talent training center" as the medium and long-term development goal. At the same time, it cooperates with the school to promote the "Industry-University Cooperation", "Departmental Undergraduate Curriculum Planning", "Special Field Talent Cultivation Program", "Internship Teaching" and "High School Vocational Strategic Alliance Program" and other phased tourism and leisure professional talent training programs, Improve students' employability and workplace competitiveness. The Department currently (for the 2021 academic year) has six classes in the daytime four-year system. In addition to training students to acquire theoretical knowledge of tourism and leisure management, strengthening students' foreign language and professional knowledge and certification exams, at the same time, through practical internships in cooperation with the industry to increase students Practical ability and skills, and cultivate professional talents in tourism and leisure marketing and management with both theory and practice.

課程規劃架構 Curriculum Planning Framework

一、基礎紮根課程:

1. Basic courses:

包含學院必修課程與一年級基礎課程,如「觀光與餐旅概論」、「觀光行政與法規」、「觀光資源概要」、「旅行業經營與管理」、「觀光餐旅日文」、「餐旅行銷」、「觀光心理學」、「觀光英文」、「旅館櫃檯接待英文」、「急救與傷害防護」、「餐旅服務技能」、「國際禮儀」、「美姿美儀」、「職場倫理」等課程,對初學之學生以培養興趣為目的,對已有基礎之學生則建立創造思考能力與重要專業態度觀念的「適性教學」。

The curriculum includes its college required courses and freshmen basic courses, such as "Introduction to Tourism and Hospitality", "Tourism Administration and Regulations", "Summary of Tourism Resources", "Travel Industry Operation and Management", "Tourism/Hospitality Japanese", "Hospitality Marketing", "Tourism Psychology", "Tourism English", "Hotel Front Desk Reception English", "First Aid and Injury Protection", "Hospitality Service Skills", "International Etiquette", "Custom Manner", "Workplace Ethics", etc. For beginners, the aim is to cultivate students the foundation of creative thinking ability and important professional attitude as the department’s “appropriate teaching focus”.

二、特色專長課程:

2. Specific courses:

區分「觀光休閒」、「旅館管理」二大模組專長課程,學生自主選擇一種模組作為主修課程模組修讀,另對各專業課程開設進階選修課程,可針對個人優勢能力加強,如「咖啡豆烘培與品評」、「咖啡調製與拉花」、「博弈概論」、「休閒健康與體適能指導」、「航空票務」、「客務管理實務」、「葡萄酒品評」、「花藝設計與布置」、「飲料管理實務」、「遊程規劃與設計」、「領隊與導遊實務」、「休閒活動企劃」、「成本控制與分析」、「旅遊個案分析」等,強化觀光休閒活動與旅館管理技能。

The Department distinguishes two major modules of curriculum: "Tourism & Leisure" and "Hotel Management".  Students can choose either one of the two modules to study.  In addition, advanced elective courses are offered for each professional course, which can strengthen the ability of individual advantages, such as "Coffee Bean Roasting and Tasting", "Coffee Brewing and Latte", "Introduction to Gaming", "Leisure Health and Fitness Guidance", "Airline Ticketing", "Customer Management Practice", "Wine Tasting", "Floral Design and Decoration", "Beverage Management Practice", "Travel Planning and Design", "Leader and Tour Guide Practice", "Leisure Activity Planning", "Cost Control and Analysis", "Tourism Case Analysis", etc. in order to strengthen skills in tourism and leisure activities and hotel management skills.

三、整合實作實習課程:

3. Integrated practical practice courses:

包含「咖啡調製與拉花」、「休閒健康與體適能指導」、「領隊與導遊實務」、「餐旅服務技能」、「飲料管理實務」、「遊程規劃與設計」、「旅館經營管理」、「婚宴與展場規劃」等,將觀光休閒活動專業與旅館管理專業結合,並以整合型製作如「專題製作(一)(二)」、「校外實習(一)(二)」、等,透過團隊合作發揮學生的專業技能,落實「做中學,全面與業界接軌」的理念。

The curriculum Includes: "Coffee Making and Latte", "Leisure Health and Fitness Guidance", "Leader and Tour Guide Practice", "Hospitality Service Skills", "Beverage Management Practice", "Travel Planning and Design", "Hotel Operation Management", "Wedding and Exhibition Planning", etc.  The curriculum combines professionalism of two disciplines, “Tourism/Leisure Activities” and “Hotel Management”, while integrating productions such as "Special Topics (1) & (2)", "Off-campus Internship (1) & (2)", etc.

Through teamwork, the curriculum strengthens students’ professional skills, thus realizing the concept of "Learn by Action” and “Full Integration with the Industry".
